When we consider trauma (and indeed the modern world is living in a collective state of trauma), there is always a root cause.
Illuma Health focuses on treating the root cause and systemic issues to transform present dynamics and ignite a better future.
Some of the key themes that are present
Survival/threat – every action is in fact a reaction. Empathy & compassion and peaceful resolution are impossible.
Oppression/Disempowerment – the inability to express and maintain boundaries that maintain sovereignty and healthy empathy within relational dynamics.
Emotional Suppression – the inability to express emotions that communicate the internal human experience.
Fragmentation & Dissociation – the splitting off or abandoning of parts of ourselves, in order to either keep the peace or survive.
